I wondered what was going on in the "neerer" thread.

Lori G. We have 2 mastiffs also. One we got as a puppy from a wonderful breeder. The other we rescued. We've had two other mastiffs who have since passed away. Our first two were brindles. our current two are fawns or as my mother likes to say "blondes".

The "Pet Thing" was started when it became clear that many of us Chambers geeks were also Mac Geeks and someone wondered, outloud, what else we had in common....and it seems that pets are another common denominator. I bet there are some vintage car hounds in the pack, maybe some vintage television or radio collectors....lot's of cooks, for sure !

We have two beagles. I love Fiestaware, vintage salt & pepper sets and linens! I think I lived in the 40's and 50's before. I feel so at home around things from those era's.

    Pet lover here!

We've "rescued" two Great Danes since August '05. Our oldest boy is Ike... seen in my avatar. Our newest boy is Joey... 5.5 months old, 65 pounds (he's still recovering from animal shelter trauma).

My husband, Craig, and I are building a '23 T-Bucket.

We are also Road Trip nuts. Our best times and best photo opps come from our last minute, "got the map, honey" excursions.

We also have two rescued Rat Terriers. Sport, the tri-color in the pic, is 10 y/o, and Hailey, the tan/white is 8 months. OUR BABIES!! Life is good for all of us here. They are a team and so much fun to have around. They're like little kids together. Life couldn't be better. And NOW, Pete has a stove to restore... Laura
